Hana Bank to Host Korea Open Tennis Tournament, A Major Event on the WTA Tour

Hana Bank is hosting the ‘Hana Bank Korea Open Tennis Tournament’ from September 14th to 22nd at the Olympic Park Tennis Courts in Seoul. This prestigious event, part of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) regular tour, is the only international women’s professional tennis tournament held in South Korea. This year, the tournament has been upgraded to a WTA 500 event, boosting prize money and ranking points. Top players, including Iga Świątek, the current world number one and three-time French Open champion, and Elena Rybakina, ranked fourth in the world, will compete, making it a highly anticipated event. Hana Bank has been sponsoring the tournament since 2017 to promote tennis in South Korea and create a vibrant tennis culture.
