The Gyeonggi Science & Technology Promotion Agency (Gyeonggiwon) has announced the selection of 10 teams to compete in the finals of the ‘2024 Gyeonggi Startup Competition.’ The competition, which aims to nurture and support promising pre-startups and early-stage startups, will be held on October 27th at the Gyeonggi Startup Campus in Pangyo. A total of 421 teams participated in the competition, showcasing their innovative ideas across various fields. The final 10 teams were chosen after a rigorous selection process, with experts evaluating the teams’ potential, implementation ability, business feasibility, and leadership. The finalists will compete for a total of 115 million won in prize money, with the grand prize winner receiving 30 million won. The competition is anticipated to offer a platform for innovative startups to present their ideas and potentially secure funding and support for their future endeavors.
