Greek Paralympic Swimmers Miss Final by a Hair’s Breadth

The Greek mixed 4x50m freestyle relay team narrowly missed out on qualifying for the final at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, finishing a mere 0.04 seconds behind the eighth-place Australian team. Alexandros Lergios, Antonis Tsapatakis, Alexandra Stamatopoulou, and Maria Fanouria Tziveleki finished fourth in the second qualifying heat with a time of 2:52.59, ultimately placing ninth overall. The Australian team secured the final spot with a time of 2:52.55, leaving the Greek team just shy of their goal.
