Goztepe, a Turkish Super Lig club, has secured the signing of Brazilian midfielder Victor Hugo, 20, on a loan deal with an option to buy from Flamengo. The young midfielder is expected to arrive in Izmir tomorrow for a medical examination before joining the team. The club announced the deal, stating that Victor Hugo will be loaned until the end of the 2024-25 season. Goztepe is currently facing a two-game stadium ban following incidents during their match against Fenerbahçe. However, the club’s appeal was successful, and the ban has been reduced to one game with no spectators. Goztepe will host Bodrum FK on Saturday with an empty stadium, but will be able to welcome their fans back for the match against Kayserispor in the sixth round.
