The Yongning Bridge, a massive dual-layer bridge spanning the Feiyun River in Ruian, Zhejiang, has been successfully completed. The bridge, constructed by China Communications Construction Company, combines a railway, a fast road, a primary road, a non-motorized vehicle path, and a pedestrian walkway, serving as a multi-functional connection for the region. The bridge features a unique design, utilizing a double-push construction technique with a maximum push distance of 130 meters. This method involved moving large steel beams weighing over 46,000 tons across the river, requiring significant engineering expertise and precision. The Yongning Bridge is a crucial part of Zhejiang’s development strategy, aiming to strengthen the connection between Wenzhou and Ruian cities, promoting regional growth and economic cooperation. Its completion is expected to facilitate transportation and enhance connectivity within the region.
