Fuel Prices Remain Stable in the Azores for September

Fuel prices in the Azores will remain unchanged in September, with gasoline prices staying at €1.574 per liter and diesel prices stabilizing after a recent increase. Gasoline prices in the Azores had only increased by 0.4 cents per liter in August after remaining unchanged in July. Between February and June, gasoline prices rose 12.3 cents per liter in the region, following a drop of 18.6 cents in the previous four months. The price of diesel stabilized after a 4.3 cent increase per liter in August. Between April and July, diesel prices only changed once in June, with a decrease of three cents, following a 3.6-cent increase in the previous two months. The maximum prices of petroleum and energy products in the Azores are adjusted on the 1st of each month and are equivalent to the variation in the monthly European Price (PE).
