Fuel prices in Israel are set to drop, offering a bit of relief as the summer holidays end. The price of 95 octane gasoline for self-service will decrease by 19 agorot per liter at midnight on Saturday, reaching 7.29 shekels. However, for those opting for full service, the price will increase by 2 agorot, bringing the total cost to 24 agorot per liter. In Eilat, the maximum price for 95 octane gasoline at self-service stations (excluding VAT) will be 6.23 shekels per liter, a reduction of 16 agorot from the previous price. The surcharge for full service in Eilat will be 20 agorot (excluding VAT), an increase of 1 agorot. Fuel prices have been steadily rising over the past year, reaching a peak in May with 7.9 shekels per liter. This latest price drop might offer some respite for drivers, especially as the holiday season approaches.
