Industrial Fulian, a Taiwanese tech giant and global leader in advanced manufacturing and industrial internet services, has successfully established a new manufacturing facility in Ganzhou, a city located in Jiangxi province, China’s inland region. The project, completed in just 122 days, exemplifies the ‘Ganzhou speed,’ showcasing the city’s commitment to attracting investment and fostering rapid development. This partnership highlights the mutual benefits of collaboration between coastal and inland regions in China. Industrial Fulian, headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, has long implemented a strategy of ‘deeply rooted in mainland China, globally deployed.’ With 80% of its workforce and 85% of its research and development funding in mainland China, the company continues to invest heavily in the country’s economic growth. The company’s investment in Ganzhou marks a strategic move to tap into the potential of China’s inland regions. Despite being neither a provincial capital nor a traditional industrial powerhouse, Ganzhou has successfully attracted Industrial Fulian due to its strategic location as a bridge between Guangdong and Jiangxi, and its proactive efforts to attract investment from the Greater Bay Area. This partnership serves as a model for regional collaboration and exemplifies the growing economic dynamism of China’s inland regions.
