Turkish intelligence and gendarmerie forces apprehended Denis Daniel Korkmaz, a French citizen, in Şanlıurfa for his suspected role in the PKK/KCK’s activities in France. Korkmaz, who was actively involved in fundraising, recruitment, and facilitating the movement of personnel and materials for the organization, was subsequently deported. He had been under surveillance for a significant period, utilizing different aliases to evade detection. Intelligence agencies determined his location in Şanlıurfa/Halfeti and launched an operation to apprehend him. Following his arrest, Korkmaz was deported and the capture provided valuable insights into the PKK’s operations in France.
