The city of Pohang, South Korea, is providing a free vehicle inspection service to residents ahead of the upcoming Chuseok holiday. The service will be available on September 5th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Pohang Baseball Stadium’s rear parking lot. The inspection will cover a range of essential components, including tire pressure, engine operating systems, lighting and brake functions, and oil levels. Passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and small-sized vehicles are eligible for the inspection. However, certain vehicles, including law enforcement vehicles, commercial vehicles, electric vehicles, and cargo trucks, are excluded. The event is being organized by the Pohang Chapter of the Gyeongbuk Automobile Professional Equipment Industry Cooperative and the Pohang Automobile Inspection Equipment Association. Over 70 certified technicians will be participating to ensure thorough inspections. This initiative aims to promote safe and convenient travel for residents during the Chuseok holiday, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable homecoming experience.
