A free medical caravan, organized by the Ministry of Health and Population, was held in the village of Al-Aliqat in Qus, Egypt, as part of the ‘Decent Life’ initiative. The caravan provided medical services to 618 residents, offering consultations in various specialties including internal medicine, gynecology, orthopedics, pediatrics, ophthalmology, and family planning. Free medication was dispensed, and laboratory tests, ultrasounds, and X-rays were performed. Ten patients requiring further care and surgical interventions were referred to specialized hospitals, and one case was referred for treatment at the state’s expense. The caravan highlighted the Egyptian government’s commitment to providing accessible healthcare to underserved communities.
