Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis, a former Boston Celtics champion, has been granted a temporary reprieve from his three-year prison sentence for fraud. Judge Valerie Caproni has allowed Davis to delay his sentence until October 22nd to complete a documentary film project about his life. Davis was convicted in Manhattan federal court for defrauding an insurance plan for NBA players and their families. His lawyer argued that completing the film project is vital, citing potential financial rewards and the need for interviews with former teammates. Davis, who played in the NBA from 2007 to 2015, expressed regret over the incident, saying he lost himself after losing his basketball career.
