Heavy rains and upstream flooding have severely impacted the lives of people in approximately 11 districts of Bangladesh. To support affected communities, a relief drive has been ongoing at Dhaka University’s TSC area. While various aid items have been collected, organizers are now shifting their focus to communal cooking as floodwaters recede. They are appealing for donations of rice, lentils, oil, and other essential cooking supplies instead of pre-packaged food items. The shift in focus aims to provide cooked meals to those in need, ensuring they have access to nutritious and easily consumable food as they begin to rebuild their lives.
