Fish Spine Removed from Woman’s Throat in Kerala

A 62-year-old woman in Kerala had a 2-cm fish spine lodged in her throat, causing discomfort. The incident occurred while she was eating, and she was subsequently admitted to Kuzhuppilly Medical Trust Hospital. A team of doctors, including ENT surgeon Dr. Ambilikrishna and pulmonologist Dr. Antony Mathew, successfully removed the spine using a flexible bronchoscope.
