A fire broke out in a luxury apartment building in Adana, Turkey, leaving one unit uninhabitable. The fire occurred around 6:00 am in a fourth-floor apartment of a building in the Huzurevleri neighborhood of Çukurova district. Residents, alerted by the flames, evacuated the building and contacted emergency services. Firefighters responded and evacuated the building for safety reasons. Thick smoke billowed from the building as firefighters battled the blaze for about two hours before extinguishing it. The apartment was deemed uninhabitable. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
