A series of explosions in Nghệ An province, Vietnam, has left four people dead and two injured. The first explosion occurred on August 27, claiming the lives of a couple. A second explosion on August 29, while authorities were clearing the site of the first blast, resulted in two additional injuries. Following the second explosion, engineers were dispatched to the scene to locate and safely remove any remaining explosives. Approximately 100 personnel from the 4th Military Region, the Nghệ An Military Command, and local authorities worked together to secure the area, evacuate residents, and manage the situation. While the cause of the explosions is still under investigation, the authorities have confirmed that the area has been cleared of potential threats. The injured victims are receiving treatment at the Northwestern Nghệ An General Hospital, with one individual sustaining severe facial and head injuries.
