EU Prosecutor Kovesi Visits Moldova: Meetings with Leaders and University Lecture

Laura Codruța Kovesi, the Chief Prosecutor of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO), will visit Moldova on September 2nd. She will deliver a public lecture to students at the State University of Moldova at 9:00 AM, followed by a press conference. Kovesi will then meet with Moldovan President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. She will also meet with Justice Minister Veronica Mihailov-Moraru and participate in a meeting of the Anti-Corruption Platform. This visit marks a continuation of cooperation between the EPPO and Moldovan authorities, following the signing of a cooperation agreement in July 2022.
