EU Condemns Israeli Operation in West Bank, Warns of Escalation Risks

The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, has condemned the ongoing Israeli military operation in the West Bank, warning that the situation is escalating and any further escalation could lead to a catastrophe. Borrell stated that Israel’s security concerns cannot justify the loss of Palestinian civilian lives and the destruction of infrastructure, particularly water and sanitation systems.
