Ertzaintza Recovers Bulletproof Vests Stolen from Lehendakari’s Car

The bulletproof vests and ammunition magazines belonging to the Basque Country’s president’s escorts were stolen from his official car in Portugalete. The theft occurred on Friday morning in a less-guarded area near the town’s train station. Police launched an investigation and quickly recovered the stolen items, which were found abandoned near the station.
