Emami, a leading FMCG player in India, has fully acquired the D2C men’s grooming brand The Man Company for INR 177.63 Cr. The company already held a 50.4% stake and has now purchased the remaining 49.6% stake, making The Man Company a wholly owned subsidiary. Founded in 2015, The Man Company offers a range of men’s grooming products, including shampoos, body wash, beard oils, and perfumes. The deal aligns with Emami’s strategy to expand its presence in the digital-first premium male grooming segment, a market expected to reach $28 billion by 2030. The Man Company plans to leverage Emami’s expertise and resources to further expand its reach in India and become a global brand.
