A car plunged 10 meters off a cliff in the Malaxa area of Chania, Greece, on Friday morning. The driver, an elderly man estimated to be around 80 years old, was successfully rescued by firefighters and transported to the Chania General Hospital by ambulance. The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 AM when the driver, for reasons still under investigation, lost control of his vehicle. The car veered off the road, plummeting down a cliff in the Kerameia area near the general hospital. Police, firefighters, and paramedics were quickly dispatched to the scene, and the driver was successfully rescued from the wreckage. The exact cause of the accident is still being investigated by the traffic police.
