Egypt’s Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation has released its 210th weekly infographic, summarizing key activities from August 23rd to 29th. The infographic highlights a range of initiatives, including a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly focused on stabilizing market prices. The meeting involved several key ministers, including the Ministers of Agriculture, Industry and Transport, Local Development, Supply and Internal Trade, Investment and Foreign Trade, as well as representatives from the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Consumer Protection Agency, Competition Protection Agency, and the National Service Projects Authority. Other activities included meetings between the Minister of Agriculture and various stakeholders, such as German business leaders, experts in seed production, and members of the House of Representatives Agricultural Committee. Additionally, the ministry emphasized its efforts in providing agricultural mechanization support to farmers, strengthening oversight of pesticide sales, and supporting livestock breeders. The infographic also highlighted the ministry’s ongoing commitment to improving water management practices, promoting agricultural research, and delivering essential agricultural services to farmers nationwide.
