A young man who suffered a severe hand injury after a traumatic accident, resulting in the complete severance of his tendons, nerves, and arteries, underwent successful reconstructive surgery at El-Bagour Specialized Hospital in Menoufia Governorate, Egypt. A team of plastic surgeons and vascular surgeons worked tirelessly to reattach the hand, restoring blood flow and nerve function. The patient, who suffered a complete tear of the extensor tendons, main nerves and arteries of his hand due to a heavy object falling on his wrist, received immediate care at the hospital. A multidisciplinary team, led by Dr. Ashraf Sharaf, a plastic surgeon, meticulously reconnected the severed arteries, nerves, and tendons. Following the surgery, the patient is undergoing physical therapy and outpatient care to ensure full recovery of hand function and a return to his daily activities.
