The board of directors of the Fioum Governorate Club in Egypt held a meeting to discuss several important issues, including the formation of a folk arts troupe, organizing celebrations for academic and athletic excellence, and commemorating the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Amgad Saad Hammouda, the club’s president, and attended by prominent members, including Hazem Taha, the vice president, and Ayman Fazza, the club’s executive director. The board approved the organization of a ceremony to honor the club’s academic achievers, awarding students at various educational levels. They also agreed to hold a celebration at the end of the 2023-2024 athletic season, recognizing the club’s top athletes. The board further discussed the agenda for the upcoming ordinary general assembly meeting, and approved a proposal by Khaled Salah, the swimming pool manager, to purchase chemicals for treating and filtering the main swimming pool during the 2024-2025 winter season through a local tendering process. The meeting expressed appreciation for the efforts of the cultural, artistic, and social activities department, led by Islam Hassan, and reviewed a report on the department’s activities from May 14 to August 28, 2024. In response to a proposal from the cultural activities department to create a folk arts team, the board recommended that the club management and relevant specialists further examine the idea. The board decided to refer the financial and administrative regulations governing the operation of the swimming pool during the 2024-2025 winter season (August 16 to April 30) to specialists for review before submitting them to the board for final approval. The board approved the media center’s proposal for the final production and conceptualization of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday celebration, known as ‘The Muhammadan Night,’ to be held at the club’s theater on September 12, 2024, with the participation of Sheikh Ramadan Abdel Razzaq.
