The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has announced a shift in weather patterns for the coming days, with some regions expecting thunderstorms and dust-laden winds. The EMA’s statement, released on Friday, indicates that most of Egypt will experience hot, humid weather during the day, with extremely hot conditions anticipated in South Sinai and southern Egypt. Nighttime temperatures will be moderately hot across the country. From Friday to next Wednesday, northern Egypt is expected to experience hot weather, while South Sinai and Upper Egypt will see extremely hot temperatures. Nighttime temperatures will be moderately hot across all regions. The EMA predicts moderate wind activity, which may become gusty at times, across the country. These winds could lead to sand and dust storms in areas like Halayeb, Shalateen, and Abu Simbel. There is a chance of light to moderate rainfall, including thunderstorms, in specific areas, including Halayeb, Shalateen, Abu Simbel, New Valley, Lake Nasser, and Ras Banas. This rainfall could be accompanied by strong winds, potentially raising sand and dust. On Friday, Cairo is expected to reach a high of 35 degrees Celsius and a low of 26 degrees Celsius. Alexandria will see a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 24 degrees Celsius. Matrouh will reach a high of 31 degrees Celsius and a low of 23 degrees Celsius. Sohag will experience a high of 42 degrees Celsius and a low of 26 degrees Celsius, while Qena will have a high of 44 degrees Celsius and a low of 29 degrees Celsius. Aswan is predicted to have a high of 44 degrees Celsius and a low of 31 degrees Celsius.
