The Shubra al-Khaimah Criminal Court in Egypt is set to hold the second session of a trial against two suspects accused of killing a child and filming the victim’s body for profit. The prosecution alleges that the accused, Tarq Anwar Abd al-Mutajali, a cafe worker, and Ali al-Din Muhammad Ali Muhammad al-Zayat, a student, kidnapped and murdered the child, Ahmed Muhammad Saad Muhammad, after the student lured him to a house with the promise of a gift. The accused then allegedly drugged the child, strangled him, and filmed the body for financial gain. The court will review evidence and testimonies to determine the defendants’ guilt or innocence.
