Earl of Sandwich’s Rooftop Bar: A Swinging 60s Tribute at Downtown Disney

Earl of Sandwich is finally getting a permanent home at Downtown Disney, and it’s coming with a rooftop bar that will transport you back to the swinging 1960s. The new two-story location will feature a traditional Earl of Sandwich on the ground floor, with a modern, airy look familiar to Downtown Disney guests. But the real attraction will be Carnaby Tavern, the rooftop bar paying homage to iconic British Invasion bands like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Jimi Hendrix. Expect psychedelic concert posters lining the walls, evoking the era’s pop art scene. This new location will be built near the Downtown Disney performance lawn, replacing the temporary Earl of Sandwich that was previously located in the former La Brea Bakery. The temporary location is expected to close in 2025 to make way for a new Porto’s Bakery.
