Dynamite Blast on Motorcycle Kills One in Bankura, Opposition Leader Alleges Illegal Mining

A young man died in a late-night explosion in Bankura, West Bengal, after a motorcycle he was riding exploded. The victim, Joydeb Mandal, was returning home from Saltora when the incident occurred. Police suspect the explosion was caused by illegal dynamite stored on the motorcycle, possibly connected to illegal mining activities. Opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari, in a social media post, accused the ruling party of involvement in the incident, alleging that the deceased was carrying dynamite for illegal mining and that police attempted to cover up the incident by quickly cremating the body.
