A drug dealer named Jamidul Islam (24) was arrested in Kushtia, Bangladesh, with 88 bottles of Phensedyl. Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) apprehended him during a raid conducted in the early hours of Friday (August 30th) in the Gachia Daulatpur village of the district’s Bheramara Upazila. During the raid, authorities also seized a motorcycle suspected to be used for drug trafficking. Islam is a resident of the Mahishkundi village of the district’s Gragapore union, the son of Jalal Uddin. RAB officials stated that they received intelligence about drug trafficking via motorcycle and subsequently carried out an operation led by Squadron Leader Mohammad Elias Khan, the commanding officer of RAB-12 CPC-1 Kushtia Camp. During the raid, the team apprehended Islam while he was concealing 88 bottles of Phensedyl using a unique method on the motorcycle. A case has been filed against the arrested individual under the narcotics act at the Bheramara police station. The seized drugs and the accused were handed over to the police station.
