Drug Charges Dominate Jefferson County Grand Jury Indictments

A Jefferson County grand jury has issued a number of indictments this week, with drug possession charges accounting for the majority. Among those indicted is Ashaunti Yvette Allen, 35, of Beaumont, charged with possession of cocaine stemming from an incident on April 5th. Another indictment was issued against Jakalean Joseph Conley, 24, of Port Arthur, also for drug possession. The specific details of Conley’s case were not immediately available.
