The Jeonnam Provincial Museum is hosting a special exhibition titled ‘Mong Sang Bla Ju, The Assemblage of Dreams,’ from September 3rd to December 8th. This exhibition, inspired by Jeonnam’s social and cultural context, aims to raise awareness about human rights and respect for diverse cultures, particularly for immigrants. It features artworks by 11 artists from various countries, including Korea, Ghana, the United States, Vietnam, China, Thailand, and Africa. The exhibition title, ‘Mong Sang Bla Ju,’ combines the Korean word for ‘dream’ with the French term ‘assemblage,’ signifying ‘the gathering of dreams.’ The museum will also organize opening ceremonies and accompanying programs, including a Vietnamese immigrant garden party and a virtual reality experience featuring Korean traditional dance.
