DPS to Run Solo in Podgorica Election with Abdić at the Helm

The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) will run independently in the upcoming elections in Podgorica, with Nermin Abdić as the lead candidate. According to Portal RTCG, Andrija Klikovac, the head of the DPS council in the previous assembly of the capital city, will hold the second position on the list. While the DPS Podgorica City Committee meeting is still ongoing, the final list of candidates for council members will be officially confirmed by the DPS Presidency. Abdić currently serves as a member of parliament in Montenegro and as a councilman in Podgorica. He is also a member of the City and Executive Committees of DPS Podgorica, as well as the executive secretary of the Main City Committee. The elections in Podgorica are scheduled for September 29th.
