Delhi LG Accused in Massive Illegal Tree Cutting Scandal

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the Delhi Lieutenant Governor of being involved in a massive illegal tree cutting scandal. According to AAP Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) admitted to illegally felling 642 trees in the Satbari area between February 16 and 26. The DDA acknowledged that their email was not hacked and that the orders came from their executive engineer. This has led to accusations of a conspiracy to clear land for development.
