Heavy rains and subsequent flooding in the Yemeni city of Hudaydah have resulted in a tragic loss of life, with the death toll rising to 84, according to the Houthi-run SABA news agency. The floods, which began in early August, have also left 25 people injured. Hundreds of homes have been submerged, and infrastructure, housing, and agricultural areas have suffered significant damage. The floods have disrupted transportation, with some roads rendered impassable.
