Artem Chigvintsev, a professional dancer on the popular television show ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ was arrested on Thursday in northern California on charges of domestic violence. According to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call regarding a domestic violence incident in Yountville, California. Upon arrival, officers determined that there was probable cause to believe a crime had occurred and arrested Chigvintsev. While Chigvintsev cooperated with officers and was charged with felony domestic violence, the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not yet released details about the alleged victim or their relationship to Chigvintsev. Chigvintsev was released from custody on $25,000 bail later that day. Representatives for Chigvintsev have not yet responded to requests for comment.
