The Cypriot football league is getting a new name, as the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) has announced a sponsorship agreement with Stoiximan, a leading betting company in Cyprus. The deal will see the league rebranded as ‘Cyprus League by Stoiximan’ for the next three seasons, starting with the 2024-25 season. This partnership signifies a significant step forward for Cypriot football, with Stoiximan aiming to further enhance the fan experience and promote social responsibility through joint initiatives. The company has been a strong supporter of Cypriot football in recent years, sponsoring major teams and the national men’s football team. Stoiximan’s Country Manager in Cyprus, Angelos Hondoulides, expressed excitement for the collaboration, highlighting its commitment to supporting the growth and positive impact of Cypriot football. The CFA President, Giorgos Kounas, also welcomed the agreement, noting its mutual benefits for both the company and Cypriot football clubs.
