Cyclist Injured in Minor Accident in Barneveld

A young cyclist was involved in a minor accident on Friday afternoon at a crosswalk on Vellerselaan in Barneveld. The cyclist collided with a van and sustained minor injuries to an arm and leg. Following an assessment by ambulance personnel, the cyclist did not require further medical attention at the hospital. The incident occurred around 3:50 PM. The van driver failed to yield at the crosswalk, resulting in the cyclist colliding with the side of the vehicle. This crosswalk in the Veller neighborhood has been the scene of several accidents. The police have decided not to conduct a further investigation.
