Cuadrado Joins Atalanta, Sets New Record for Colombian Players in Serie A

Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, a veteran Colombian footballer, has signed with Atalanta, marking his sixth Serie A club and making him the Colombian player with the most teams in the Italian league. The experienced winger, who recently ended his contract with Inter Milan, opted for a move to Bergamo after rejecting offers from Brazil and Argentina. Cuadrado’s Serie A journey began with Udinese in 2009, followed by stints with Lecce, Fiorentina, Chelsea, Juventus, and now Atalanta. He has amassed over 480 Serie A appearances, scoring 55 goals and providing 79 assists. Cuadrado hopes to continue his success with Atalanta and potentially earn a spot in the Colombian national team under new coach Néstor Lorenzo.
