A young man was tragically killed in Gujarat, India, after being attacked by a crocodile that had emerged from a river due to heavy rains and flooding. The victim, identified as Amit Vasava, was attempting to cast a fishing net when the crocodile dragged him into the Orsang River. Despite efforts to escape, Amit was unable to free himself from the crocodile’s grip and ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred in Vadodara, a city known for its crocodile population, particularly in the Vishwamitri River. Officials have reported that 28 people have lost their lives and over 5,000 have been displaced due to the severe flooding caused by the heavy rains. Rescue teams have been working tirelessly to reach and evacuate stranded individuals in affected areas.
