A Croatian under-21 team, including Milan Rukavina, secured a bronze medal at the World Boat Fishing Championship in Donegal, Ireland. Despite challenging weather conditions with strong winds and waves, the Croatian team, which included Vito Ferara, Teo Hajdaraj, Tomas Lukaric, Josip Taras, and Dominik Ferjancic, demonstrated their exceptional skills and secured third place. Slovenia finished second, while Italy, a dominant force in the world of sea fishing, claimed the gold. This victory adds to a growing list of Croatian sporting achievements, particularly in the region of Lika. All fish caught during the competition were released unharmed back into the sea. Rukavina will now move to the senior competition next season.
