Couple Electrocuted While Repairing Irrigation Pump in Bangladesh

A tragic accident occurred in Gaibandha, Bangladesh, when a couple, Kaseb Ali and his wife Alema Begum, were electrocuted while working on an irrigation pump. The incident took place in Balata village on Friday, August 30. Ali, 45, was repairing the pump when he came into contact with a live wire. His wife attempted to rescue him, but she also became electrocuted. Locals and relatives discovered them unconscious and tried to disconnect the power supply, but it was too late. The couple was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident highlights the importance of safety measures when working with electricity.
