Portuguese authorities have intercepted a major drug trafficking operation, seizing approximately 6.5 tons of cocaine intended for distribution across Europe. The investigation, which began several months before June, led to the arrest of three individuals. The confiscated cocaine, produced in Latin American countries, was destined for other European nations, with Portugal not being the final destination. This significant bust highlights the global nature of drug trafficking and the continued efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat this transnational crime.
