The Korea-China Chamber of Commerce recently held its annual general meeting, with nearly 100 representatives from member companies and media outlets in attendance. During the meeting, a new president and supervisor were elected. Gao Chen, president of China Foreign Transportation (Group) Corporation’s South Korean branch, was chosen as the new president, while Huang Yuxin, general manager of the Seoul branch of Bank of Communications, became the new supervisor. The meeting also approved the 2023 annual work report and financial statement of the chamber. The Chinese Ambassador to South Korea, Fang Kun, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He congratulated the newly elected president and supervisor, recognizing the chamber’s work and achievements. Fang emphasized the significance of 2023, marking the 75th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and a crucial year for implementing the 14th Five-Year Plan. He urged the chamber to continue its efforts, leverage its strengths, and promote positive development in bilateral trade cooperation. Wang Zhilin, the ambassador’s counselor, also attended the meeting.
