The curtains rise on the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League with the draw ceremony taking place tomorrow, August 29th at 5:45 PM CET in the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco. TV8 will broadcast the event live. This season’s competition sees a significant change with 36 teams competing, up from 32. Five Italian teams – Inter, Milan, Juventus, Atalanta, and Bologna – will be vying for the prestigious title. The draw will feature a new format, with a computer determining matchups, replacing the traditional ball-based system. The top eight teams will qualify directly for the Round of 16, while teams ranked ninth through twenty-fourth will compete in knock-out rounds to advance to the next stage.
