The iconic Brno circuit in the Czech Republic, a legendary venue for motorcycle racing, will return to the MotoGP calendar starting in 2025. The announcement, made by the MotoGP promoter, marks the return of a beloved motorsport tradition. Located 200 kilometers southeast of Prague, Brno hosted 50 editions of the Czechoslovakian and Czech Republic Grand Prix between 1965 and 2020. Initially a 14-kilometer track, the circuit was gradually shortened to its current 5.4 kilometers in 1987, becoming a permanent fixture. The agreement between MotoGP and the Brno circuit extends until 2029. The return of MotoGP to Brno is a welcome development for Czech motorsport fans and the country’s tourism industry. It is expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors.
