Bosnian Army Helicopter Pulled From Lake After Crash

A Bosnian Army UH-1H helicopter, part of the Air Force and Air Defense Brigade, was successfully retrieved from Jablanica Lake on Thursday. The helicopter had crashed into the lake on Wednesday after colliding with an electrical wire during a training exercise with the Konjic Civil Protection. The recovery operation involved the Federal Specialized Unit for Underwater Rescue (FUCZ) and the Bosnian Army, using heavy machinery to pull the helicopter from the lakebed. The Special Police Unit of the Federal Administration of Police had previously located the helicopter using divers.
