Bolivian Youth Find Culinary Success Through Manq’a School

The Manq’a school, an initiative of Conexión ICCO Cooperación, has celebrated its 10th anniversary by providing comprehensive gastronomy training to 6,000 young people from rural and peri-urban communities in Bolivia. The school has become a successful movement, offering opportunities for education and employment to young Bolivians. The program emphasizes both culinary skills and digital literacy, equipping graduates with the tools to launch their own food-related businesses. The Manq’a program has had a significant impact, improving the dietary habits and quality of life for many participants.
