Tarique Rahman, acting chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has called on party leaders and workers to prioritize gaining public trust. Addressing a virtual meeting with leaders from the Rajshahi division, Rahman emphasized the crucial role of public support in future elections. He highlighted that the BNP’s history of enduring repression and torture over the past 17 years has fostered public confidence, which needs to be maintained. Rahman urged party members to avoid any actions that might erode public trust and to engage directly with people to ensure their confidence remains intact.
