The National Water Commission (Conagua) has issued a weather forecast predicting rain in Durango, Mexico, throughout the weekend, including during the Black Eyed Peas concert on Friday night. While the concert will take place at the Explanada de la Feria Nacional Durango (Fenadu), umbrellas will not be permitted. The forecast for Friday calls for heavy to very heavy rain, with 20 to 50 millimeters expected in the Sierra Occidental and surrounding municipalities. Moderate to heavy rain, ranging from 5 to 20 millimeters, is predicted for the rest of Durango, including the capital city. Despite the possibility of rain, temperatures will be warm in the afternoon, reaching 32 to 33 degrees Celsius. The forecast for the weekend predicts strong to very strong storms throughout the state, including the capital city and the upper basins of the dams. Wind gusts of 20 to 40 kilometers per hour are also expected from Friday to Sunday.
