A recent survey by Netorabo, in collaboration with Voice Note, asked Kansai residents to name their favorite Chinese and ramen chains. The results revealed a diverse range of popular options, with Osaka Wangsho taking the fifth spot with its famous ‘Genzo Yaki Gyoza’ (original pan-fried dumplings) and other classic Chinese dishes. Another contender for fifth place was Linga Hat, known for its Nagasaki Chanpon and Sara Udon, local specialties featuring pork, seafood, and an abundance of vegetables. In third place, with 5.6% of the vote, were both Kamukura, a ramen chain famous for its unique soup and noodle combinations, and a second Osaka Wangsho branch. Coming in second place, with its signature gyoza dumplings, was Gyoza no Ohsho. The highly anticipated top spot went to Ichiran, a ramen chain renowned for its customizable, intensely flavorful ramen, earning its place as Kansai’s favorite.
